The Intellitron MAG-1050 is a unique and convenient solution for providing an artificial ground for HF antennas on a vehicle. This device attaches magnetically to a vehicle’s metal surface, creating a reliable ground via capacitive coupling without the need for hardwired electrical contact. Its non-permanent design allows for easy installation and removal without causing any damage to your vehicle’s body.
Compact and secure, the MAG-1050 measures 80 x 195mm (3.15 x 7.68 inches) and is designed to stay firmly in place at speeds of up to 110 km/h (68.35 mph). It provides wide frequency support, working effectively in the 7–30 MHz range and extending to 7–50 MHz with a short connection cable. For lower frequency operation, two units can be used together to enable use in the 3–5 MHz range.
