The Intellitron AB-1612 Universal Antenna Tilt Base is a rugged and versatile solution designed to simplify the assembly and installation of your vertical antenna. This tilt base allows you to safely build and adjust your antenna on the ground and then easily and securely raise it into its vertical operating position, all while minimizing the risk of damage or injury.
Constructed from durable 1/8-inch aluminum plate, the AB-1612 is built to last. Its pre-punched mounting holes are compatible with most common U-bolt sizes, accommodating antenna masts up to 2-1/4 inches in diameter. The tilt base also features extra bolt holes specifically for connecting a ground rod or radial system, ensuring your antenna setup is properly grounded for optimal performance. For added convenience, many popular vertical antennas with insulated base brackets can be directly bolted to the tilt plate without the need for U-bolts.
